What's Been Going On!

Ok! So, I slack a bit, or maybe alot -
this is definitely not shocking news! :)

But here I go again . . .
maybe one of these days -
y'all will get more current updates!

Thanks for your patience! :)
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Moving Day!
Although we loved the time we spent up at Canyon Meadows,
we knew this day would come ... we loaded up everything we own
and put it into a storage unit for the summer!

*And Coonsy thought his truck was a large vehicle! :)

Tetris begins . . .

So much stuff ... but y'all know me -
everything is labeled appropriately! :)

Cute Cousins!
I have the cutest cousins ever!
It has been exciting to be apart of their
lives since moving out to Utah.

Alex and Abby at their Cheerz competition!
Abby's Birthday party!
Dylan and Zoe - aka "The Queen"
all dressed up in her tea party ensemble!

Basketball!
We got season tickets to the Jazz!
Below are a few of the highlights - aka - the teams
we deemed the most favorable opposing teams!

CAVALIERS
LeBron & Shaq Apparently LeBron does this before every game.
It was cool to see it in person!
CELTICS! MAVS - GO DALLAS!
Sorry, I'm partial! :)
LAKERS!
Coonsy knew - if he took me to my all time
favorite restaurant (KYOTO) before hand,
I would be more than happy to put up
with him during the entire Lakers game! It worked!
HaHa! We definitely had fun ... because the Lakers won! :)

Ford's Soccer match!
The fam was in town for Spring Break.
So we indulged - and watched Ford play! :)

Lindsey and Jake's visit!
LJ surprised Jake with a ski trip to Utah for Valentine's!
And they were able to stay with us while they were in town!

This was our first experience at Farr's!
We are obsessed now - thanks Stace! :)
Before we went out - we were able to visit Tawny!
And here is her little Jack! He is an absolute stud!
And of course, Sundance!

Broken Hand :(
My first broken bone ever!
I must say - it looks alot worse than it was!
But I got flowers ... cute Coonsy!
(and please take note of the color -
pretty and pink! Love him!)

World Cup Mogul Competition at Deer Valley!
I love this event - and have attended
since I was in college (maybe for 6 years now.)
It was freezing, but eventful as always!
We came with two other awesome couples ...
and ironically enough - all the girls were
BRITTANY'S! HaHa! Love it!

Moster Truck Rally!
We came with some of Mike's cousins
(Tim - below, and Steve with his wife Krista!)

Trevor and Brittany's wedding
They were married the beginning of January in Las Vegas!

Mike grew up with Trevor in California,
and he and Ford were both Groomsmen in the wedding!

Catching Up!

Apparently I have neglected to post anything in six months -
so here is my polite attempt to catch up! Enjoy!

CHRISTMAS IN DALLAS

We spent the holidays in Dallas -
and it was quite eventful . . .
It snowed while we were there!
(And all I wanted was to escape the blasted cold!)
HaHa! But fun to finally experience our first "white" christmas!

MORMON TABERNACLE CHOIR CHRISTMAS CONCERT
AND LIGHTS ON TEMPLE SQUARE

APX CHRISTMAS PARTY

Here we are at Coons' work holiday party
(And me with my new married friend - also named BRITT!
Love it, because if any of you know/remember -
I ran around with three Lindsey's in college!)

FORD'S BIRTHDAY

We went to a cocktail lounge - SPARK . . .
unfortunatley I doubt we will ever return.
But before misfortune hit - here we are!

CAROLINE'S BAT MITZVAH

Coons and I were able to go back to Dallas for a Bat Mitzvah
It was exciting . . . to say the least!

ONE YEAR ANNIVERSAY!
Coons and I made it! :)

So, we decided to celebrate in Moab.

And Coons surprised me with
A HOT AIR BALLOON RIDE!
It was Absolutely Amazing!

BYU FOOTBALL

Now you are starting to get a sense
of what I've have married into! :)

We love football! HaHa!

TEXAS FOOTBALL

So after the wedding, I had to venture
back to Utah - but Coons decided to stay!

He was able to go to an RHS (my high school)
Friday night football game.

And then my dad was able to get tickets for all the guys
to go to the
BYU vs. OU game at the new Texas Stadium!

KATIE & JOHN PAUL'S WEDDING WEEKEND

One of my best friends from high school
got married in Dallas and Coons and I
were able to go and be apart of the festivities!

ALASKA NATURE RESERVE

The reserve contains animals that
could not otherwise survive in the wild
(aka - a ghetto zoo)

We saw: moose, bears, buffalo, bald eagles,
bison, reindeer, and more!

SEWARD, ALASKA

Our day cruise around Resurrection Bay!

We saw: humpback and orca whales,
puffins, sea lions, and glaciers.

What an adventure the past six months have been . . .
we are excited for what is in store for this year!
